SUMMARY:Currently recruiting: one postdoc or graduate level researcher - im
 pact of temporally-encoded intracellular signalling on single cell integra
 tion into synaptically active neuronal circuits
DESCRIPTION:We are currently recruiting a researcher (postdoc or graduate l
 evel) to join the project "Temporally-encoded intracellular signalling and
  its impact on single cell integration into synaptically active neuronal c
 ircuits" funded by the Academy of Finland. Please see the following links

 direct link\n\nBrief synopsis of project: Correct functioning of the nervo
 us system requires formation and maintenance of synaptic connections betwe
 en neurons. Defects in these connections can contribute to neurological di
 seases\, such as Alzheimer’s Disease. The main aim of the project is to 
 determine how dynamic properties of intracellular signalling networks acro
 ss neuronal populations influence integration of single neurons into synap
 tically active circuits. This project makes use of excellent local infrast
 ructure for proteomics\, dynamic imaging and actuation\, lab automation an
 d screening to determine the causal relationships between changes in the s
 ynaptic proteome\, signalling networks at the single cell level and integr
 ation into interacting cell circuits.\n\n
