 the study of light-driven processes (photosynthesis and photoperception) a
 nd chloroplast biology. They address key questions on the biology\, evolut
 ion and ecology of microalgae by focusing on different molecular model sys
 tems (e.g.\, the green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii and the diatoms Phae
 odactylum tricornutum and Cyclotella cryptica) and on ecological relevant 
 phytoplanktonic species\, investigated with approaches of eco-physiology\,
  biophysics\, biochemistry\, genomics and genetics. Two key resource pilla
 rs\, the biophysics and genetic resources\, support their research\, as we
 ll as that of numerous collaborators. The lab continues the scientific tra
 dition of the “Service Photosynthèse” established within the Institut
 e of Physico-Chemical Biology since 1967.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSelected publicati
