All seminars are on-site only at 12:00 in BioCity\, Presidentti audito rium. Coffee and sandwich are served before each seminar.\n \;\n\nFron tiers of Science is a 25-year-old seminar series arranged by BioCity Turku \, where world-leading scientists are giving a talk and presenting their l atest results from their field of research. The seminars are intended for both researchers and students and students can get ECTs from participation .\n\n- This spring season the program is particularly interesting since Bi oCity Turku researchers have invited researchers widely from different fie lds to talk about their work\, says BioCity Turku Scientific Director\, Pr ofessor Klaus Elenius.\n\n- We all will have a great possibility to learn more about ie. bioimaging\, biomaterials\, cancer research and biocatalysi s\, Elenius continues.\n\n \;\nPhD researcher\, have a face-to-face lu nch with the speaker!\nBioCity Turku offers a great possibility for PhD re searchers and early-career postdocs to create connections for future and t o learn hosting skills in a friendly environment. After each seminar\, the speaker will have lunch with maximum six PhD researchers or early-career postdocs. The atmosphere during the lunch has been very casual and positiv e\, even leading to informal invitations to join the speaker’s research group.
