DESCRIPTION:\nResearch-based knowledge is the basis for decision-making. Wo
 uld you like to know how research results are used to influence science an
 d knowledge management nationally and internationally? What else are scie
 ntific results used for? What are the strengths of the University of Turku
  and how can we refine them in order to do even better in the future?\n\n\
 n\n\n\n\nThe six strategic profiles of University of Turku organise an ope
 n discussion and networking event on science influence and leading with k
 nowledge. The event is opened by Academician of Science Markku Kulmala\,
  who tells the audience how street-credible science influence starts from 
 making street-credible science. His key-note talk is followed by two panel
  discussions.\n\nThe first panel discussion deals with the use of research
 ed knowledge in different areas of society. The second panel discussion wi
 ll consider the strengths of the University of Turku and how we could impr
 ove them in order to do even better in the future\, nationally and interna
 tionally. Experts in journalism\, politics and science world\, including R
 iitta Maijala (Vice President for Research in Research Council of Finland
 ) and Erja Heikkinen​ (Deputy Director General in Ministry of Educatio
 n and Culture) will participate in the discussion.\n\nThe event programme 
 and discussion is in Finnish. Online participation is also possible\, and 
 the Zoom-link is sent to all registered participants. The event is open t
