Sony SH800 Cell Sorter
The benchtop SH800S cell sorter permits sorting of a wide range of cell sizes for many applications using the 70μm, 100μm, and 130μm microfluidic sorting chips. This novel, chip-based design is fully integrated with comprehensive fluidics controls and advanced automation for set-up, acquisition, sort and analysis to make sorting less subjective, more precise and easier to perform.
The instrument has 4 laser lines. 6 colors + FSC and BSC (SSC) can be detected simultaneously. The use of co-linear lasers provides flexibility with fluorochrome selection. The sorter is placed in a biosafety level 2 cabinet which allows e.g. sorting of primary cells.
