The European network for neurodevelopmental Rasopathies, consisting of 16 partners across Europe, is about to formally begin.
Our laboratory will be recruiting one researcher at postdoc or graduate student levels to identify robust phenotypic differences in neurons differentaited from human iPS cells representing each of 3 rare diseases – SynGAP, Cardio-Facio-Cutaneous syndrome and Costello Syndrome, These differences will be used develop a simple minaturised assay, which will be applied to a repurposing library to screen, identify and validate hits that could potentially see a rapid entry into clinical use.
