Finnish Cultural Foundation Awards Funding to Turku Bioscience Researchers
We are pleased to announce recent funding from The Finnish Cultural Foundation:
- Amogh Vinay Ranade (Lahesmaa Group): Doctoral research on novel regulatory factors of the human adaptive immune response, €32,000 (first year of a two-year grant).
- Kalle Rytkönen (Elo Group): Research on endometriosis, adenomyosis, and heavy menstrual bleeding, €18,000.
- Roosa Kattelus (Lahesmaa Group): Doctoral research on epigenetic DNA changes preceding type 1 diabetes, €32,000.
- Shruti Bhardiya (Westermarck Group): Doctoral research on the role of the DUSP6 enzyme in treatment resistance and brain metastases in HER2 inhibitor–resistant breast cancer, €32,000.
