About us

The Advanced Imaging Core (AIC-Turku) is an open-access centralized service where end users receive support to carry out conventional and advanced imaging techniques. The core provides state-of-the-art microscopy and imaging equipment that is open to all researchers.

The primary goal of the AIC is to enhance the research and teaching environment of BioCity Turku. In addition, the facility cooperates with Euro-BioImaging ERIC and Turku BioImaging as part of the Finnish Euro-BioImaging Node, improving the accessibility of imaging technologies nationally and internationally.
