1. Project Request
To start a project, please inform us about your samples by sending an email to pcs(at)bioscience.fi or anapap(at)utu.fi.
Once your message has been received, we will arrange a project initiation meeting. During this meeting, we will discuss experiments, sample preparation, and provide an estimated cost and schedule for your project.
2. Training and Reservation for Instrument Time
Training is required to access the instruments. You can request a training session by email. Once trained, you will be able to book instruments through our reservation system.
3. Sample Shipment
If you need to send samples, please follow these instructions:
- Pack samples securely with enough ice/gel packs (preferably without dry ice) using the courier of your choice.
- It is usually safer to send samples at the beginning of the week, especially when shipping from abroad.
- Inform us when you have shipped your samples so we know when to expect them. Please include the delivery tracking code if available.
- If you are nearby, you can bring your samples directly—but please contact us first.
4. Feedback
We value your feedback! Please share your comments and suggestions by email at anapap(at)utu.fi.
5. Submit Your Publication
Please inform us by email at anapap(at)utu.fi about any publications where our services have been used. By sharing your publication, you help us maintain high-quality services at competitive prices in the future.
Remember: It is obligatory to acknowledge the use of our research infrastructure services in publications. For example:
