MicroMax-007 HF X-ray generator
A microfocus high flux rotating anode with a 70 mm circular focal spot, maximum power of 1.2 kW, and low-maintenance requirement. It provides high-resolution X-ray data collection for protein crystallography, testing for ligand binding, quality assessment of crystals, checking if the obtained crystals are made of salt or protein, and finding suitable cryoprotectants.
The instrument is also used for small-molecule crystallography and powder diffraction.
Moreover, it is used as an educational tool for training students and researchers in X-ray data collection, crystal characterization, and cryocrystallography.
