Abstract

Silica-based nanoparticles are targeted to α2β1 integrin cell surface receptor. Analysis with BioImageXD reveals them to be endocytosed into human cellsviamacropinocytosis, through GM1, Caveolin-1 and Rab7 positive pathways.
