BD LSRFortessa Cell Analyzers

We have two similar BD LSRFortessas with four lasers. These are equipped with PMTs in optical arrays, making it possible to detect up to 17 fluorescent parameters.

Laser Configuration

1. Violet Laser exciting at 405 nm wavelength
2. Blue Laser exciting at 488 nm wavelength
3. Yellow‑Green Laser exciting at 561 nm wavelength
4. Red Laser exciting at 640 nm wavelength

The BD High Throughput Sampler (HTS plate loader) is coupled to the instrument and allows fully automated run of samples from 96-well plates (flat, U- or V-bottom)

The Fortessas work are operated through BD FACSDiVa software, that allows user‑defined mixing, wash, and analysis parameters
