BioCity Turku asks for proposals for Elias Tillandz publication prize winner during March 2026
In the context of the 35th BioCity Symposium “Vision, Expanded” (27-28 August 2026) the twenty-second Elias Tillandz prize will be awarded for the best scientific paper published in 2025 in Turku.

The proposal must include, in addition to the article itself, a one-page graphical abstract. The graphical abstract should include a clear and concise list of 3–5 of the article’s most important findings. Both the abstract and the article should be sent together as one pdf file to biocityturku@bioscience.fi at latest 31 March 2026.
The proposed paper should have been published during year 2025 based on either electronic publication date or cover date of the printed magazine. The topic of the publication should be in the area of life science or molecular medicine or any other closely related field. Turku scientists (working in the University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University or other research institutes in Turku) should be the first and last authors and most of the research work should have been conducted in Turku.
