Dr. Tapio Lönnberg, Ph.D. appointed group leader and Head of single cell genomics in Turku Bioscience!
After his Ph.D. studies at University of Turku, Tapio carried out his postdoc in the laboratory of Sarah Teichmann, Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. Prior to his new position as a group leader and Head of single cell genomics in Turku Bioscience Tapio held Academy of Finland Postdoctoral Fellowship.
– We are very happy to have Tapio developing and leading the Single cell genomics core here in Turku Bioscience, says Riitta Lahesmaa, director of Turku Bioscience.
Tapio says that he is truly excited about his new position as group leader and Head of single cell genomics.
– This is an excellent opportunity to further develop the Single cell genomics core and continue working with the great team that we have here in Turku Bioscience!
