We are proud to announce that Laura Elo, Professor and Research Director at Turku Bioscience, has been elected as a member of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters.
Warmest congratulations to Laura on this well-deserved recognition!
Members of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters are selected from among distinguished scholars, and membership is considered a significant achievement in a researcher’s career. The number of members is limited: at any given time, no more than 333 members under the age of 65 may be active. Membership is for life.
Founded in 1908, the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters is a multidisciplinary learned society dedicated to advancing scientific research and serving as a forum for scholars representing high-level science across various fields.
