Recruit your next student at the MSc Thesis Project Expo 2025. Registration is now open!

Do you supervise MSc theses in the biosciences? Join the MSc Thesis Project Expo on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, and meet students who are eager to find their thesis projects.
The MSc Thesis Project Expo is a networking event where research groups and bioscience MSc students from the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University can meet and discuss possible MSc thesis topics. It replaces the previous research group presentation events.
When: Wednesday 3 December 2025, 9.00–11.00
Where: Tiedonkolu, Medisiina D
The event is organized as a poster exhibition, with one vertical A0 poster per PI. Please register only if your group can take an MSc thesis student in the upcoming year. There is room for the first 50 research groups.
Register your research group by 23 November 2025:

This is a great opportunity to:
- Increase your group’s visibility among MSc students
- Network with potential thesis workers
- Recruit the most motivated students to your team
Information about the participating research groups will be available before and after the event in a Moodle page (https://biocityturku.fi/msc-thesis-projects/) to help students to find the contact details. In the Notice Board of the same Moodle page all research groups (even the ones who won’t participate to the Expo) can post information about their research and promote available positions throughout the year.
The event will be promoted to both domestic and international MSc students from the Faculty of Medicine (UTU), Faculty of Science and Engineering (ÅAU), the Departments of Life Technologies and Biology (UTU), but also other students are welcome to join.
Welcome everyone!
